Picking up some silverware

9th February 2014

It might be 2014 but Jaocb is still feeling the spoils of last season. Last night at VWDRC Chairman Luke Stevensons wedding anniversary Jacob was presented with APIRA Championship winners trophy. Lets see if we can retain that trophy this year.

The APIRA Championship consists of 2 events at Shakespeare County Raceway, Springspeed Nationals and Open Sports Nationals. Jacob gained a 3rd and 2nd place in 2013 which resulted in the APIRA title going home with Mr Bailey.

Everyones going charged

21st January 2014

As the season get closer everyone has made up their minds and it looks like 2014 is the year of forced induction. Jacob, Tom and Paul are going turbo while Fran is bolting on a supercharger to the Reem Machine.

In 2013 Fran hit the track for the first time in The Reem Machine at Bug Jam 27 qualifying number 1 and making it to the quarter finals before losing out to the overall winner. The best time for the car last year was 14.40 but with the addition of a supercharger and some drage slicks she will be looking for low 13s.

Supereem has been BOOSTED!

5th January 2014

First weekend of 2014 and the pre season builds begin. Tom's Mk3 Golf has received a christmas present in the form of a new turbo motor, it's been dropped into the car and with figures around the 440bhp should pack a punch.
