The Supereembeing is Tom Herbert's VR6 Turbo powered nitrous assisted MK3 Golf drag racing machine. The 5 door car weighs only 800kg thanks to both a carbon fibre front end and single skinned rear, when teamed up with a supercharged VR6 with nitrous set a 1/4 mile best of 11.74 at 124mph. This season a new turbo engine will powering the car up to a figure around 600bhp and down into the 10 second 1/4 mile region.
The Reem Machine

Best Run: ET - 12.76 at 109mph​
Frances's VR6 powered race car The Reem Machine is a fan favorite. The navy blue golf with splashes of orange and pink does not only look good on the track but rockets down it too. The car has been into the 12's on the drag strip with some help in the form of a shot of nitrous but this year an addition of a supercharger and slicks should see Frances powering back into those quick times.
Naked Obsession
Driver: Jacob Bailey
Car Spec: Mk2 Jetta R32 with Nitrous
Best Run: ET - 11.97 at 115mph​
This Mk2 Jetta packs a punch in the form of a R32 powerplant and cheeky squirt of nitrous. Jacob's Naked Obsession car ran the majority of last season natural aspirated running in the 12.5's consistantly but a couple of test passes with the nitrous saw a personal best set of 11.97 1/4 mile pass. 2014 will see the Jetta sporting a turbo on this already massive motor, 500+bhp is the target and like Tom, Jacob is chasing the 10's.
Project Eleanor
Driver: Paul Herbert
Car Spec: Corrado VR6 Turbo
Best Run: N/A
Paul Herbert's latest project is due to be biggest yet! After building and racing 2 championship winning cars and running his previous Golf VR6 right into the 11's, this Corrado will be expected as no less than awesome. The 3.0L forged VR6 engine will be fitted with a turbo and nitrous injection before being dropped into an ultra light weight shell. This car has all the makings of a 600+bhp monster dragster.
